Trained architect and former contractor, Burhan "Bo" Okuyan opened up Metro FramArt in 1990. Back then, we were down the street on 85th and Broadway corner and named Metro Art & Frame. Now we are perfectly located on the corner of 91st and Broadway.

Bo received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology in 1982. For the next eight years he worked at design and construction companies as a Designer and Project Manager. Since then, he has been the proud owner of Metro FramArt for the past 22 years. 

At our Broadway location, you’re bound to run into these Framing Consultants, Hank and Tutul. They each have over 10 years of experience in framing and consulting. Hank used to own his own framing shop before he joined us.

This is Saimir, he’s our in-house artist. On top of framing, he does the art restoration and oil paintings.
